Hotel security personnel called police when they became concerned that there would be a fight between two groups of guests having heated words in the VIP area. Officers arrived and watched a group of about 6-8 guests exiting the VIP area. They saw one person, later identified as Robert Carnes Jr., punch the victim in the head two times. Officers deployed Tasers to quell the fight that erupted."
The victim? You guessed it. Suge Knight. Mr. Carnes has been identified as Akon's Business Manager.
Now I remember when Suge Knight was like the Hip Hop Candyman. Dudes were afraid to say his name three times or even once in company because one of your lame ass partners may have told on you. He was like the scariest man on the planet; striking fear in the hearts of emcees, reporters and stylists near and far. Now he stays getting his ass whopped? How the hell did that happen? Is it age? Maybe his now long gone money was the equivalent of Sampson's hair. Maybe it's karma. Who knows?
Anyway, Mr. Knight was escorted to the hospital and diagnosed with several broken bones in his face. He might want to start having more Blockbuster nights. The streets don't seem to have any more love for this cat.
